New layout
(Oslo, 17/02/2001) Our Nordic Fauna has recently been re-released with a new
design, without frames and, hopefully, with easier navigation.

Welcome to
"Our Nordic Fanua"
"Our Nordic Fauna" is the result of
long-lasting, serious research on our Nordic animal species and
their lives. The unique pictures shown would not be possible
without our photographers' incomprehensible patience and
indomitable wish to produce the most excellent to our readers.
Today, our thoughts go to the people who have spent
days and nights for weeks in the deep, inaccessible Nordic woods to
catch a glimpse, or even better, a picture, of some of our rarest
and least known species.
But our knowledge is by no means complete. Have you
observed an unknown animal? Do you
have an exciting story from a meeting with strange creatures?
Don't hesitate, send us your story, preferably with a picture, to
let us share your knowledge with others!

New Species
Occationally, new species are discovered. However, it will
probably take som time before we are able to provide decent descriptions.
We will try to maintain a list of species with descriptions
in progress.

There are plenty of pages on the Net related to animal life.
We will provide links to some of them.
