Cackle Herring

Cackle Herring

The cackle herring is a funny little fish, literally laughing through life. The cackle herring captures its food by hiding in moss on the bottom of the sea, laughing loudly until a fish passes by. The friendly laughing makes the victim feel secure, and it becomes an easy prey for the sharp teeth of the herring.

Even humans staying in waters where the cackle herring lives may be attacked. For the time being, we don't know which sufferings this may generate, but scientists claims that if one should swallow a cackel herring by mistake, one may be hearing it's laughter for years.

By the time of writing, I have only superficial knowledge of the above mentioned creature, due to lack of sufficient research equipment. I am working to get donors that can contribute scientific materials, and also bring to our disposal a home for specimen of this endangered species.

Thanks to Ingvild for her eager researching and kind contribution.
