Browl Pant Tinkler Land Flounder Cackle Herring |
Land Flounder (Heterosomatus Terrae)The land flounder is a flat, fishlike animal living on flat rocks and on asphalt. It is one of the few evidences on evolution, being the only known fish living on dry land.
The land flounder is colour blind, but it does not thrive in blue light. During summer it spends the time on airports, but it draws to South Africa in the winter by pasting itself to the wheels of large passenger planes. This passage has always taken place, and today there is intense research to find out how the land flounder could get to the south before the planes existed. The land flounder has also been observed in northern Africa, but is does not thrive in the heat. The humidity seeps in to avoid that it seeps out, which causes a dry, almost parchment-like skin surface. This skin makes the animal able to endure the pressure of being pasted to plane wheels. The land flounder lives on insects, the favorite feed is chops lice, of which it consumes considerable amounts during the winter. |
