The hair was sometimes quite high.

Rock'n'roll hair, beard and thin ties used to be really hot.

Of course I was a red russ. The last class with acceptable status as "Teisenruss", we had to take our third year at Hellerud :-(

Right:
New uniform, this time it was green. The picture is taken after three months at the Sessvollmoen recruit school. We were lucky and got new uniforms to use while we were on leave.
