Well, I guess the day has already begun, but better late than never. We're still waiting at Sahar Airport in Bombay for the flight to Zürich. We got in contact with a couple from Switzerland, who had been on a 14 days journey all around in India. We sang "I believe in Jesus" for them, they were very nice. We thought about getting closer to the gate, but found that we didn't want to stand in that queue as long as we had boarding passes. There were many peculiar people here at the airport, probably many adventurers of various kinds. We got on board, and all of us were seated on row 37, just in front of the first row in the smoking section. We really felt that. Tove and I were seated next to Ebenezer from Cameroun, he had been on a business trip to Shanghai and Manao. He was a believing catholic, pretty religious, but we hope saved. As far as I understood, he had Jesus in his heart. He was in the tea and coffee business, and he was interested in starting business in Oslo, so he asked me some questions. When he found out how "little" I earn, he realized that I wasn't an ideal business partner. And since he hardly knew there was something called Norway, I guess that was the best solution. We got a few hours of sleep during the night, the flight took 9 hours. But I'm not exactly rested, so I'm really looking forward to getting home and have some sleep in a few hours. We're about 30 minutes delayed, but since we have a 5-6 hours slack in Zürich it doesn't really matter. We landed just before 07:00 (Zürich time), and found some seats in the transit area. I sent an SMS message to Inger Johanne so that I'll know when she turns her phone on. Then I bought 18 postcards and stamps for a fortune and payed with my Visa card, so that my friends and relatives at least will get one postcard from this trip, even though it won't be from India. Then Sofia and I went through the roles of God and Jesus in the drama piece, so that Sofia will be able to learn some people in Amsterdam to play it later. The others were in the cafeteria and Rolf Daniel ordered something that showed up to be a kind of hot-dog in bread.
Rolf Daniel is almost halfway through his HP-UX book, he's reading about processes, the kernel and trouble shooting tools. The plane is leaving soon, and I've been in the tax-free shop and bought what I should.
The food onboard was nice, a kind of pie with bacon and champignon in cheese sauce. I sat next to Lars Erik and Inger, and I had a window seat. Cool. It was pretty cloudy, but there were some holes in the clouds. They say it's nice weather and about 0°C in Oslo now.
So all of us were driven home by car, we really appreciated that!
