We woke by ourselves in good time before nine. There were lots of noice around us: a cock that crowed, a cow that mooed and Alex talking as loudly as yesterday. Some of the guests are obviously early birds. We packed the bag with swimming stuff, sun screen and water and walked down to Tsalos Beach, a restaurant by the beach where Star Tour held their information meeting. We joined it, as it might be useful. We decided to take part in two excursions, one to Knossos to satisfy our cultural needs, and one to the Samaria ravine to satisfy our need for exercise. And we signed up for the welcome dinner the same evening, just to live up to the image of charter tourists. Then we had an omelet each for breakfast, before we went down to the beach and sunbathed the rest of the day. We had heart shaped donuts coated with chocolate for lunch, together with Coke and icecream. The selection of icecreams is very rich, by the way.
Around halv past four we returned to the hotel. We went astray along the road, but we'll probably get to know the place pretty soon. Alex offered Raki when we came, and he told us he was going to the market to buy fresh fish on Saturday. "Fresk fish", as he said. So we decided to eat at Alex Saturday. We took a shower and relaxed before we walked down to the Volcano restaurant, where the welcome dinner was. Volcano was just around the corner, just 2-3 minutes to walk. We had Raki there as well, we almost kind of enjoy it now. We're probably getting used to it. We were seated with two couples from Värmland in Sweden. They were very nice, two sisters with their husbands. We had Tsatsiki first, then greek salad, and Souvlaki as main course. For dessert we could choose between coffee and pancake with icecream, so we had both. Later, we went for a walk, and ended up at Tsalos Beach where we met one of Inger Johanne's former customers, so we sat down and had a chat before we went back to the hotel and went to bed.
