We slept late today, till 10:30. It was lovely, even though Inger Johanne would rather have been up at 9:30 to go to the beach. We stopped at the supermarket to buy water, juice and straws before we strolled towards the beach. Along the way, we dropped in at a nice tavern called Marina to have breakfast. Inger Johanne ordered calamares, I had greek salad. We wrote post cards and diary while we waited. The food was good, but there was a bit too much onions in the salad. The stomach ached a bit, but it may have had something to do with the ouzo we had with the bill. We found a pair of sunbeds on the beach today as well, and the wind and the waves were much weaker. We bought a pair of air beds too, a light green for Inger Johanne and a pink for me. We had them inflated in the shop. It was quite nice to paddle around with them. After the bath, we had icecream, chocolate donuts, peaches and Cokes. We shopped quite a lot at the super market on the way home, but we didn't have enough money. Rather embarrassing. But we were allowed to owe them till later. And they had really cheap Raki glasses, 80 drachmas a peace. So we bought 12.
Alex' fish dinner was delicious, roasted, whole fish whose name we can't remember, with oil and lemon saus, together with salad, french fries and Alex' homemade white wine. Afterwards we stayed for a long while and enjoyed life before we went over to the bar and had a chat with Mike, Alex' son. Then we went to bed.
