Today we were going to Knossos, so we relaxed in our room til we left. Inger Johanne rubbed me with sunscreen before she trimmed the hair around my ears. Unfortunately, she trimmed a bit too much, so we had to take the rest, thus ending this period with squares and stripes. The trip to Heraklion was about half an hour. We had plenty of time to have lunch in the city. We had pork with mashed potatoes and lamb with yoghurt pudding. Tasty! Later on, we slogged around in the museum looking at old pots and figures for a while. We hardly heard the guide because of the noice, neither did we see much because of all the people.
We had dinner down at the beach, next to Axos. We both had steak, mine was with green peppers and Inger Johanne's was with Madeira sauce. It was a bit chilly, so we went early. But it was very nice. |
